Ultrasonic height unit

Ultrasonic height measurement systems were first introduced in 1995. They are fast, accurate and it means there is no input needed from the user. The user stands up straight and tall and the ultrasonic sensor takes a dozen readings and then returns the average reading result. The process takes about 3 seconds to complete. The wide measurement parameters make it easy for both tall and short people to get an accurate reading result, including children.

The measurement of height is very important since it is one of the key measurement components that are needed to calculate BMI, because the user does not have to input or guess their height the BMI result is more accurate.
